Welcome to the Call for Films for the 52nd Deauville American Film Festival which will take place from September 4 to 13, 2026.
In order to be considered by the Selection Committee, submitted films must meet the following requirements:
- be feature-length fiction films or documentaries with a running time of 75 minutes or more. The Festival does not screen short films.
- be produced, either wholly or partially, by a U.S.-based company or a company of American origin.
- be French premieres and must not have participated in any major European film festival, unless otherwise decided by the Festival Director.
Films must be submitted exclusively via a streaming link. If the original language of the film is neither English nor French, it must be submitted with English or French subtitles.
Selected films must be presented in Deauville in their original version with French subtitles. Subtitling costs are the responsibility of the participants. All selected films will be screened in DCP format.
The Festival does not charge any submission fee.
The submission deadline is July 9, 2026.
The official announcement of the selected films will take place in August 2026. Participants will be notified by email of their film’s selection prior to the official announcement.
